Chief's Message

Chief Marcos Ruiz is a graduate of Brewster High School.  While in high school he was a member of the Brewster Police Department Explorer program.  After high school he served his country by enlisting in the United States Army.  After completing his tour of duty, he began his law enforcement career as a police officer with the Brewster Police Department in 2000.    He worked as a patrol officer until 2014.  In 2014 he went to work for the Omak Police Department where he was assigned as detective.  In 2019 he began his duties as Chief of Police for the City of Brewster.  He subscribes to the servant leader philosophy and considers it his duty and honor to serve and protect the people of Brewster.
